These terms cover your use of MyGuys, a business app for contractors, and the website myguys.work. By creating an account or using MyGuys you agree to them. Home
Who we are
MyGuys is provided by MyGuys Marketing and Automation Inc., an Ontario, Canada company (“we”). Questions about these terms: admin@myguys.work.
Accounts and acceptable use
- You must be at least 16 and able to enter a contract. Give us accurate sign-up details and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Use MyGuys lawfully. Do not break or probe our systems, interfere with other users, reverse engineer the app, resell access without our written permission, or upload unlawful or harmful content.
- If your business has several users, the person who set up the business account is responsible for who they invite.
Your data stays yours
The customer, job, estimate, photo and other business data you put into MyGuys belongs to you (or your business). You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run MyGuys for you. We do not sell it. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account in the app.
Third-party services
MyGuys works with services we do not control, such as Google sign-in, Apple and Microsoft sign-in, and business tools you connect, such as Housecall Pro. Your use of those services is under their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, changes or actions. If you connect one, you authorize MyGuys to exchange data with it on your behalf.
Paid plans and beta
Parts of MyGuys are in beta or testing. Features may change, break or be removed, and the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. If we offer paid plans, the price, billing period and what is included will be shown to you before you pay, and we will give notice before changing a price that applies to you.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost business or lost data. Our total liability for any claim related to MyGuys is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or CAD $100 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Keep your own records of anything critical to your business.
Termination
You can stop using MyGuys and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or put the service or other users at risk, or if we stop offering MyGuys. We will give notice where reasonable. Sections that by nature should continue (such as limits on liability) survive termination.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app or by email. Using MyGuys after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario.
